Who can apply for a Doc2Doc Personal Loan?

  • In Training and Practicing Physicians 

    • 4th-year medical and podiatric and students who have successfully matched into a paid residency program. 
    • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident holding a valid 0-1 or H-1B visa. 
    • Earned an MD, DO, DPM or MBBS degree. 
    • U.S. mailing address except for residents of Connecticut, Maine and West Virginia where we do not offer loans. 

    In Training and Practicing Dentists 

    • Dental students who have successfully matched into a paid residency program. 
    • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident holding a valid 0-1 or H-1B visa. 
    • Earned a DDS or DMD degree.
    • U.S. mailing address except for residents of Connecticut, Maine and West Virginia where we do not offer loans. 

    Pharmacists 

    • Practicing in the United States. 
    • U.S. citizen or permanent resident. 
    • Earned a PharmD degree. 
    • U.S. mailing address except for residents of Connecticut, Maine, and West Virginia where we do not currently offer loans. 

    Veterinarians 

    • Practicing in the United States. 
    • U.S. citizen or permanent resident. 
    • Earned a DVM/VMD degree. 
    • U.S. mailing address except for residents of Connecticut, Maine, and West Virginia where we do not currently offer loans.

    Optometrists 

    • Practicing in the United States. 
    • U.S. citizen or permanent resident. 
    • Earned an OD degree. 
    • U.S. mailing address except for residents of Connecticut, Maine, and West Virginia where we do not currently offer loans.



    Nurses

    • Practicing in the United States.
    • U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
    • Earned a BSN, MSN, and doctoral nursing degree (see full list below).
    • U.S. mailing address except for residents of CT, ME and WV where we do not offer loans.

    Doc2Doc offers personal loans to nurses with BSN, MSN, and doctoral nursing degrees, including Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, CNMs and CRNAs.

    • Registered Nurse (RN) — Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
    • Registered Nurse (RN) — RN-to-BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing completion program)
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP) — Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
    • Nurse Practitioner (NP) — Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
    • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) — Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
    • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) — Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
    • Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) — Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
    • Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) — Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
    • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) — Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
    • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) — Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP)
    • Nursing Researcher / Nurse Scientist — Doctor of Nursing Science (DNS or DNSc)
    • Nursing Leadership / Academic Nursing — Doctor of Nursing (ND)

    At this time, we do not lend to practicing nurses with the following degrees:

    • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
    • Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
    • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
    • Medical Assistant (MA)

    Physician Assistants

    • Practicing in the United States.
    • U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
    • Earned a MPA, MSPA or DMSc Degree.
    • U.S. mailing address except for residents of CT, ME and WV where we do not offer loans.

    Anesthesiologist Assistants

    • Practicing in the United States.
    • U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
    • Earned a Master’s Degree in Anesthesia MSA, MMSc, or MSA-A.
    • U.S. mailing address except for residents of CT, ME and WV where we do not offer loans.
